Pediatric TB- Science Meeting

Under PRERNA, science meetings are organized to deepen the understanding of specific topics and to generate new ideas for future research. This year, we are planning to host a 2-day virtual science meeting on the topic “Paediatric Tuberculosis”. The purpose of the meeting is to understand the advancements and unresolved problems in the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of tuberculosis in children, discuss ongoing programmatic efforts to address the gaps and need for systems strengthening to meet tuberculosis elimination targets. Subsequently, the group also intends to come up with an opinion paper outlining the research priorities in paediatric TB, especially from a health policy and systems research perspective.

Qualitative Research Workshop organised on 20-21 December 2021

KEMHRC, Pune is organizing a Qualitative Research Workshop, to be held on 20th and 21st December, 2021 at Four Point by Sheraton. The new Young Investigators from PRERNA platform will be attending the workshop. Imminent faculties in the field of Qualitative Research and some of the Young Scientist from the PRERNA platform will be acting as resource persons for the same. The participants will work on two different research themes of qualitative research and develop them into proposals and tools of Qualitative Research.
